I have just started getting interested in American Football, so delighted to hear that you're restarting a team right on my doorstep (given that I live in Crewe).

Is there anything I can do to help?

(Being a 50-something female I doubt I'll be trying out for Tight End anytime soon, alas!)

We will need volunteers for game days Megan. If you would like to come to a training session on a Sunday (1pm King George V playing fields, West St, Crewe) and introduce yourself to one of the coachs / committee members and we will have a chat.

Hi Megan, just to mirror what has already been said thank you for your support and kind offer to help the club. Would be great to see you at training and to be honest some of the young lads do need a motherly figure to keep then in line lol.

Heh! A whole new position on the roster - "Team Mother"... what number shirt is that?

I expect it's a bit early for such matters, but one of my friends in America, who is a high school football coach, says that when such is available he would like to purchase a shirt... after all, I have supported his Blue Demons as their most distant fan, so he'd like to return the compliment

Megan, i think that 13 would be the best shirt number for you as mother, basicly as you would be the most unlucky mother to have children such as us !! ..lol...Go ! blue Demons...John r
